MAN UNITED DEMOLISH ROMA IN STYLE

Manchester United produced one of their best performances this season as they came from behind to demolish Italian opponents AS Roma in the Europa League thereby moving closer to the final of the competition.

The Reds Devils were favourites ahead of the Roma game in the first leg of their last four tie but they didn’t live up to that status until the second half.Manchester United on TV was a feature for the game which ended in a 6-2 win for the hosts.

UNITED AIM TO FINISH GRANADA TASK

Manchester United on TV would be a feature when the Red Devils play hosts to Spanish La Liga outfit Granada in the second leg of their quarterfinal tie in the Europa League. Manchester United already have one foot in the next round after the good result from the first leg in Spain. UNITED FAVOURITES FOR TRICKY BRIGHTON CLASH

Manchester United face in-form Brighton and Hove Albion at home in their first game back from the ongoing international break with the target of getting back to winning ways after the disappointment of their FA Cup exit at the hands of Leicester City in their last game. Manchester United on TV was a feature as the Foxes sealed a semi-final berth in the FA Cup at the expense of the Red Devils via a 3-1 win at home. Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rested some key players for the game and was too late when the players in question were introduced into the FA Cup quarterfinal clash. Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice during the game which played host to Manchester United on TV. Belgian international Youri Tielemans scored the other goal for the home team, while Manchester United got their only goal through Mason Greenwood.

Brighton have won their last two matches in the league ahead of their trip to Manchester to face Manchester United at the Theatre of Dreams next week Sunday. UNITED PREPARE WELL FOR MILAN GAME

Manchester United on TV was a feature as the Red Devils prepared for the all-important Europa League round of 16 second leg clash withItalian giants AC Milan by beating stubborn West Ham United at home. Manchester United prepared for the Europa League clash with Milan by securing a slim win at home to the Hammers. The only goal of the game came on 53 minutes courtesy the own goal from Hammers centre back Craig Dawson after good work from Manchester United and Scotland international midfielder Scott McTominay. West Ham United were victims of the brilliance of Scotland player McTominay once again. He was responsible for the only goal of the game in extra time as Manchester United beat the Hammers 1-0 at home in the fifth round of the FA Cup last month. With the win, the Red Devils were able to progress into the FA Cup quarterfinals, where they will meet Leicester City to determine who will secure a place in the semi-finals of the competition. FERNANDES CLOSES GAP ON SALAH

Manchester United talisman Bruno Fernandes has closed the gap on Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah in the race for the Golden Boot Award in the Premier League this season. MANCHESTER UNITED PAY TRIBUTE TO LIVERPOOL MANAGER

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has received a lot of tributes from players, pundits, and even football clubs after recently confirming that his mother has passed on. The German tactician made the revelation earlier this week and has since attracted a lot of condolences from friends and family, and even rival clubs.


His mother, Elisabeth, died at the age of 81 after a brief battle with an illness. The sad news comes right at the time when the Reds manager is facing a heap of crises at the club, including injuries to his key players and a loss of form to the ones he has been using since.

UNITED HOPE FOR REDEMPTION AT ARSENAL

Premier League football followers were stunned into disbelief at the end of the game between title chasers Manchester United and bottom team Sheffield United as the outcome of the game was not what was expected. One would have been forgiven for predicting a handsome scoreline ahead of the game due to the contrasting form of the two teams.


Manchester United started the last game week in the Premier League at the top of the table with 40 points from 19 games, while Sheffield United had only five points from the same number of games. UNITED EYE LEAGUE SUMMIT AT BURNLEY

Manchester United can make a big statement in the Premier League when they travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley in a rescheduled matchday one game on Tuesday night. Manchester United pressed home their status as Premier League title challengers for this season after securing a late win over stubborn Wolverhampton Wanderers in their latest league clash. Manchester United on TV was a feature during the latest set of Matchday 16 games played on Tuesday night and it ended with a slim win over Wolves at home.

Millions of fans around the world saw Manchester United on TV as the Red Devils closed the gap on league leaders and fierce rivals Liverpool with a 1-0 victory that was secured in added time. Those fans saw Manchester United on TV as England international Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game after receiving the pass from playmaker Bruno Fernandes. His shot took a deflection to hit the back of the net two minutes into added time for the only goal of the game.
