Manchester United were able to win the game at the expense of their visitors who gave a good account of themselves and were unlucky not to come away from Old Trafford with a share of the points. Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players showed during the Wolves game that they are ready to secure the points even when they are not playing well. This attribute is definitely a sign of champions though Liverpool will still have plenty to say about this. For now, Manchester United have moved above the likes of Everton and Leicester City to secure second spot on the league standings. The Red Devils have a total of 30 points from their 15 league outings in the current campaign, while Liverpool are two points clear of them having played the same number of games.
