Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes (penalty) were the goalscorers for Manchester United who are seen by many as favourites to win the Europa League trophy this season.

The Manchester United boys have been in good form in the past weeks apart from the FA Cup quarterfinal exit at the hands of Leicester City last month.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his Manchester United players were on the hunt for two major trophies namely the Europa League and the FA Cup before the loss to the Foxes meant that they will have to go all out for the Europa League. The Red Devils were beaten 3-1 at the home of Leicester City in their FA Cup clash this season.

Nigerian striker Iheanacho scored twice for the Foxes during that game with Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans getting the other goal for the hosts. Mason Greenwood was responsible for the lone strike for the Red Devils. That result means the team will have to win the Europa League to end their four-year wait for a major trophy.

Manchester United prepared for their second Granada game on Thursday with the 3-1 comeback win over Tottenham Hotspur in the league and Manchester United on TV was a feature for the game in North London.

The Red Devils are expected to finish the Granada job and they are in line to face Villarreal or Dinamo Zagreb in the semis. Spanish team Villarreal are the likely opponents for Manchester United in the final four of the competition after they took a first leg lead at the home of the Croatians.
