Manchester United on TV was also a feature as the Red Devils made it three wins and a draw in four games under the new management of German tactician Ralf Rangnick. The German took charge of the first team shortly after the short caretaker managerial tenure of Michael Carrick ended after three games in charge in all competitions.

Rangnick is expected to stay in the Manchester United dugout until the end of the season.

Manchester United on TV would also be a feature when Rangnick attempts to maintain his perfect home record in the league. He would lead his team out against Wolves on Monday, January 3, 2022. The Wolves game would be the first one for the Red Devils in the New Year.

For the Burnley game, Manchester United started it in seventh spot and they were able to end it in sixth spot after the victory recorded at the expense of the Clarets.

Manchester United took the lead inside the first eight minutes through the impressive Scotland player Scott McTominaybefore the team added two goals within the space of eight first half minutes to take the game away from the Clarets. Ben Mee (own goal) and Cristiano Ronaldo found the back of the net on 27 minutes and 34 minutes respectively to take the game to 3-0. Burnley winger Aaron Lennon pulled one back for the visitors to ensure that the Clarets went into the break with a two-goal deficit. The two teams didn’t add to their respective tallies in the second half.

With the win over Burnley, Manchester United are now four points off the Gunners in fourth spot with a game in hand.
