The Wolves game ended in a win for Manchester United thanks to the winning goal from Spanish playmaker Juan Manuel Mata. The veteran Spanish midfielder scored from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time after Dutchman Donny Van deBeek was tripped by Moroccan international RomainSaiss in the Wolves box. Wolves fullback Nelson Semedo had earlier cancelled out the opener from Manchester United youngster Anthony Elanga.
